When a student makes a mistake, Harry listens to their reasoning first. When a student cannot begin a piece of writing, he explores whether the challenge is understanding the task, developing ideas or organising them.
Through questions, clear modelling and targeted feedback, he helps students understand knowledge and apply strategies to new tasks.
